  • The Eagle Point School District 9 Board of Directors makes the following statement:

    The school board appreciates the superintendent’s leadership, dedication, and commitment to student success. His proactive approach to financial management helped the district navigate a challenging budget crisis, ensuring stability while minimizing long-term impact. His leadership in implementing Professional Learning Communities (PLC) has set a strong foundation for improving student outcomes, fostering collaboration among educators. Strategic leadership changes within our schools have strengthened school direction and culture, positively impacting staff and students.

    Advocacy for the district remains a key strength, with a strong presence in schools and a collaborative approach that has fostered a productive leadership team. His ability to navigate complex challenges while keeping student achievement at the forefront has been commendable. Continued focus on reinforcing the district’s vision, enhancing communication, and ensuring consistency in instructional strategies will further strengthen progress.

    District priorities, including closing achievement gaps, expanding career pathways, and deepening community engagement, remain important. Growth in student achievement is promising, and the emphasis on PLC training is a positive step. Graduation rates remain strong, and career-readiness programs continue to expand opportunities for students. Strengthening teacher retention and increasing community involvement will further support district success.
